League History
The Suburban Industrial Co-ed Softball
League was founded in 1987 by Electronics Boutique President & CEO, Jeff
Griffiths. Electronics Boutique built a softball field on property at the then
Corporate Headquarters in the Goshen Corporate Park in East Goshen,
Pennsylvania. Original teams included Electronics Boutique and other companies
in and around the Corporate Park. In 1988 QVC, then headquartered next door
to Electronics Boutique, joined the league. In 1996 QVC moved their headquarters
a mile down the road to the Brandywine Corporate Park. The property
included a long-abandoned softball field. QVC restored the field to give the
league two home fields. This allowed the league to expand its schedule and
number of teams.
